IoT Based Forest Monitoring to Detect Illegal Logging & Fire Risks
Recently in the forest there is satellite based fire detection technique has been used which is unable to detect small fires. For illegal logging forest department don't have any system that is going to detect real-time forest fires on time instead of that they are using manpower that can do that. This study investigates the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in sophisticated forest fire and illicit logging detection systems. We suggest an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system that combines machine learning and ground sensors to improve early detection accuracy and reaction times for forest fires. 10T-enabled sensors give real-time data and continuously monitor the surrounding environment, enabling quick diagnosis and intervention to reduce fire damage. The study intends to improve forest conservation and management by utilizing IoT technology and tackling pressing environmental issues with creative and scalable solutions.
