Project Mate: A Modern Solution for Professional Networking and Collaboration

The emergence of modern technologies has revolutionized the way people seek professional connections, particularly with the rise of remote work. The traditional platforms such as LinkedIn are frequently used, however, there is a lack of highly specific solutions. To counter this, we created the “Project Mate” - a web-based application builds with the help of MERN stack as the core including MongoDB, Express JS, React JS, Node JS as the back-end framework to help professionals likeminded to connect and collaborate. The application provides the means for the users to search for ideal partners using keywords and is also set up to match users with similar interests. Users can then be able to communicate and negotiate on the type of collaboration they require within a closed space. The purpose was to develop an anonymous platform to establish business connections with the help of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and the latest web advances.
