Analysis of EMG Parameters to Predict Fatigue during Exercise in Young Athletes

In the contemporary world, healthcare is essential for both developed and developing countries. Each emerging country benefits greatly from the latest advancements in the healthcare industry. More than 71% of the population in India suffers from muscular abnormalities, so the focus of the research is primarily on diagnosing muscular issues in athletes. Since athletes are more likely to experience pulls and strains in the targeted area, the study focuses predominantly on athletes to identify muscular variations at the targeted location. The majority of sportsmen have experienced upper and lower back discomfort as well as neck pain. Tendinitis, sprains, strains, and fractures are among the numerous conditions that occur in the everyday world of athletes. Our focus is mostly on the soleus muscle, which is important for athletes. Since the soleus muscle is where high levels of stress and strain accumulate, it explicitly serves as a diagnostic point of contact. The EMG amplifier is employed to analyze the electrical activity of the muscles; the amplifier channel may change depending on the data required. Myoware sensor is used to acquire the raw EMG, and the processing and feature extraction clearly defines the properties of the muscles obtained for their pre- and post-event states.
