Harmonic Power Flow Calculation Method Based on VSC AC/DC Harmonic Interaction Model
Harmonics on both the AC and DC sides of the Voltage Source Converter (VSC) interact with each other. This paper introduces a convenient approach for calculating harmonic distribution of the power grid. Initially, employing the principles of bilateral Fourier series theory, a mathematical representation of the VSC's switching function is developed. Subsequently, a VSC harmonic source model that takes the influence of DC side harmonics into account is built by analyzing the interaction between the AC and DC harmonics. Furthermore, a simulation framework for the VSC is developed on the Matlab/Simulink environment to verify the accuracy of the suggested harmonic source model. Lastly, a practical harmonic power flow computation method depending on the suggested model is expounded. The computation method's viability is confirmed in the IEEE-57 bus network.
