Coordinated Control for Unbalance and Voltage Fluctuation in the Distribution Station Area

With the development of renewable energy, the proportion of photovoltaic power generation in the distribution station area is increasing. Combined with the existence of a large number of single-phase loads, the voltage fluctuation and three-phase unbalance in the station area are becoming more serious. Considering the flexibility and wide applicability of governance, this paper proposes a coordinated control using single-phase energy storage to solve two problems. Firstly, based on the principle of energy storage capacity distribution, this paper derives the capacity required to control three-phase unbalance and voltage fluctuation respectively, and sets the energy storage input power accordingly. Secondly, considering the influence of energy storage capacity constraints on the governance effect, the governance schemes under sufficient and insufficient capacity are proposed respectively. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed comprehensive treatment scheme is verified by Simulink simulation.
