Design of a New SSTS Topology for Switching Peak Voltage Suppression
Solid state transfer switch (SSTS) is the core equipment for automatic switching of different power supplies. The existing SSTS based on LC resonance artificial construction of zero crossing has the problems of requiring capacitor pre-charging DC power supply, switching spike voltage and complex control. Therefore, this paper proposes a new SSTS topology to suppress the switching peak voltage. The AC power supply charges resonant capacitor through an uncontrollable rectifier circuit. The reflow diode is used to recover the excess energy of capacitor, and the problem of load peak voltage and current is eliminated. In addition, the resonant equivalent inductance is reduced under the action of the reflow diode, which can improve the switching speed. This work provides technical support for ensuring the uninterrupted power supply of sensitive loads, improving the operation performance of equipment and the treatment effect.
