Research on Power Quality of Distributed Generation Connection to the Distribution Power Grid Considering the Influence of Harmonic Additional Loss
With the increasing demand for improved power quality from users and the integration of numerous distributed power sources into the distribution power grid, the current synthetic evaluation methods for power quality fail to select appropriate indices based on the characteristics of the evaluation object. This limitation makes it challenging to apply these methods in scenarios involving distributed generation connected to the distribution power grid. Therefore, this paper analyzes the issues related to power quality arising from the connection of distributed generation to the distribution power grid. It constructs an evaluation index system specifically for assessing the power quality of distributed generation connections and proposes a power quality evaluation approach that considers the impact of harmonic additional losses. Combined with the CRITIC method with an improved Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the synthetic weights are calculated using the TOPSIS method, allowing for a quantitative evaluation of the power quality associated with distributed generation connected to the distribution power grid. Finally, the proposed evaluation method is verified by an example. Combined with the actual power quality data, the method can effectively and accurately evaluate the power quality of the distributed power supply connected to the distribution power grid, which provides valuable guidance and reference for improving the power quality of the distributed power supply connected to the distribution power grid.
