Evaluation of Maximum Integration Capacity of Distributed Photovoltaic Considering Power Quality Constraints
With a high proportion of distributed PV integration, the voltage and harmonic problem of the power system is further aggravated. If the integration capacity of distributed PV exceeds the actual hosting capacity of the distribution network, voltage over limit and harmonic pollution are caused. It has severe negative impacts on the security and operational efficiency of the distribution network, which may lead to instability of the power system. It is necessary to study the PV maximum integration capacity to guide the rational integration of distributed PV and guarantee a quality electricity supply for the power system. Therefore, a maximum PV capacity assessment method considering power quality constraints is proposed in this paper, which determines the capacity limit by establishing a model of a distributed PV integration system and taking harmonic voltage and harmonic current as constraints. Finally, the simulation with distributed PV integration is built by ETAP to verify the accuracy of the proposed PV maximum integration capacity evaluation method.
