Determining the Time and Volume of Supply of Materials for the Production of Asphalt Concrete Mixtures
The paper deals with material supply scheduling models for asphalt concrete mix production. It is shown that planning the supply of raw materials relies primarily on the economic criterion, which is considered the minimum expected average loss, including the cost of material storage and loss of profits due to lack of materials in storage at the right time. The most common systems are described that allow automating the processes of planning, inventory control, and choosing the best strategy for restocking materials for the entire assortment to minimize the actual losses or anticipated costs. Models are presented to determine the losses from the storage of materials in the asphalt concrete plant warehouse and the losses incurred due to their absence.
