Comparative Analysis of the Efficiency of Using a Diesel and Electric Loader Taking into Account the Resource Limitations of the Battery
This paper compares diesel and electric wheel loaders in terms of operating costs, productivity and environmental impact. The study found that despite the higher initial investment in electric loaders, their long-term operating costs are lower due to lower energy consumption and no fuel costs. Electric loaders also show slightly better performance and environmental benefits. However, to fully understand the economic and operational benefits of electric loaders, the additional costs of maintenance, charging infrastructure and battery replacement must be considered. The results of the study indicate that electric loaders are a promising choice for companies looking to reduce operating costs and improve environmental performance, with further research into specific costs required for a more accurate assessment.
