INTERNET OF THINGS APPLIED TO THE MONITORING OF CHEMICAL EFFLUENTS
This article discusses a comparative analysis based on a case study of the effectiveness of implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) in treating water contaminated with synthetic blue dye, using a technological artifact developed based on the Jar Test structure. In collaboration with the Chemistry course at Lauro Gomes Technical School, students conducted a study on treating water contaminated with blue dye using laboratory samples with different concentrations of chemical effluent and varying additions of flocculating agents, while collecting reference values for pH parameters. The integration of IoT in an automated process demonstrated efficiency and flexibility in collecting quality values, graphically displaying changes in pH and turbidity parameters.
