Microflow Velocity Senor Based On Gaussian Optical Field
This paper presents a microflow velocity sensor based on Gaussian optical field. The equipment is an optical fiber equipment made of single mode fiber. A 980 nm laser is used in the experiment. The laser propagates through the optical fiber and forms a Gaussian light field after exiting from the end of the fiber, enabling stable trapping of microparticles in a specific velocity microflow. Considering that it can be used to measure the velocity in closed environments (such as living organisms) in the future, avoiding using complex microscopy observations, by utilizing photodetection technology, the backscattered light signal is converted into an electrical signal, according to the position information of captured microparticle reflected in the backscattered signal, linked with microflow velocity, the measurements of microflow velocity can be realized. Moreover, when microflow velocity changes it can reflect rapidly and perform real-time performance.
