Self-Localization of Target Systems Based DOA Estimation on UCA and LEO Satellite Signals of Opportunity
Global Navigation Satellite Systems suffers from weak signal reception, high energy consumption, and susceptibility to interference and spoofing. This paper proposes a novel approach for target positioning by using signals of opportunity of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. The mechanism is analyzed and a received signal model tailored for signals of opportunity of Low Earth Orbit satellites is developed. ESPRIT algorithm is used to obtain a closed-form solution for the estimation of angle of signals of opportunity. Via the real-time satellite information from ephemeris data of STK software, the simulation results illustrate the superior performance of our proposed approach.
