Research on Frequency Allocation Strategy Based on User Grouping Algorithm
Multi-beam satellite spread spectrum communication system can utilize multiple independent beams to improve the communication efficiency and capacity. When multiple beams use the same frequency to provide services for the target users within the beams, it will result in co-channel interference and limit the system capacity. In this paper, a dynamic user grouping design based on clustering algorithm is proposed, in which users are divided into multiple groups and appropriate carrier bandwidths are assigned to each group to reduce the multi-beam co-channel interference and increase the number of concurrent users of the satellite, while guaranteeing the users' service quality. Simulation results show that the proposed method can isolate users in a certain degree of area in a fixed-beam system to achieve the effect of co-frequency interference suppression, and at the same time, improve the system capacity of concurrent access to the number of users.
