Artificial Intelligence of Digital Production Management

The article considers the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital production management. The authors note that the use of AI technologies opens up many opportunities to improve efficiency, optimise processes and make more informed management decisions. Key applications of AI in this area include demand forecasting and production planning, logistics and supply chain optimisation, predictive maintenance of equipment, automation of routine tasks, and big data analysis to uncover hidden patterns. The use of AI in business process management in digital manufacturing, including production process optimisation, supply chain management, quality control, and decision support, is discussed separately. It is emphasised that a key advantage of AI is its ability to process large amounts of data, identify hidden relationships and offer optimal solutions. The article considers the representation of process architecture in digital manufacturing as analogous to neural networks in artificial intelligence. The author notes that this approach has both advantages and disadvantages.
