Development of an Adaptive Protocol for Packet Data Transmission

The development of telecommunication networks is determined both by global trends and the specific situation in which this industry has been for a long time. When using such networks, it is important to maintain a sufficient level of data transmission quality. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to create a technique that allows making adaptive tuning of protocol parameters at the link layer. This technique should also include a channel testing mechanism. The analysis showed that the current existing codes couldn't cope with a large number of errors, so it is proposed to create a new method of data encapsulation, which provides a lower value of loss. The application of the method proposed in our work for adjusting protocol parameters at the link level showed that the quality of communication is maintained significantly longer, even with a high degree of loss (50%), compared to analogues.
