Do giz às telas interativas: uma investigação sobre manifestações de Tecnologia na formação inicial de professores de Ciências
In order to revalue and expand the discussions on Technology from the perspective of Science, Technology and Society Education (STS) in Science teaching, we sought to identify the dimensions of Technology expressed by teachers in initial training of undergraduate courses in teaching in the areas of Sciences from a university in northeastern Brazil The investigation is exploratory, with a qualitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire applied remotely with the help of Google Forms. 69 undergraduate students from the institution's Chemistry, Physics and Biological Sciences courses participated. For corpus analysis, Content Analysis was used. As a result, the following categories emerged: i) Dimensions of Technology; and ii) Technology in Science Degree courses. It is understood that, in the universe researched, the dimension Technology as a human activity was the most frequent, followed by the dimensions Technology as an object/artifact and Technology as a mode of knowledge. In addition, the view of the undergraduates prevails Restricted Conceptions of Technology and, there is a predominance of teaching and learning of technological tools and artifacts as motivators/facilitators of the teaching and learning processes of Science. It signals the need for proposals for changes in the curricular structures of the pedagogical disciplines that deal with STS Education of the investigated Licentiate courses in order to consider aspects of the Nature of Technology in a broader way.
