Evaluation of Peripheral Circulatory Changes Following Hydrotherapy and Controlled Physical Training in Patients with Atherosclerotic Lower Limb Ischemia
Physical training, combined with whirlpool massage treatment, has a beneficial effect on improving peripheral blood flow assessed by impedance plethysmography, as well as patients' tolerance to physical exercise. The inclusion of hydrotherapy as part of cardiovascular rehabilitation protocols in patients with peripheral ischemia is a promising form of conservative treatment.
