Post-COVID syndrome is an often debilitating condition that occurs in at least 10% of cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. Many people who have recovered from the new coronavirus infection experience complications for months or even years after infection. In-depth medical examination helps to check health, diagnose post-COVID syndrome, assess the risk of complications or detect them at early stages. The subject of the study was the level of satisfaction of citizens who underwent in-depth medical examination with the availability and quality of its organization. Objective. To study the attitude of citizens who underwent in-depth medical examination to the organization of medical examination in medical institutions. Material and methods. The study included 500 patients who underwent in-depth medical examination and a sociological survey at the city out-patient clinic of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Khabarovsk in 2024. For the convenience of questioning patients, a questionnaire of 18 questions for self-completion of the online survey was developed on the Yandex forms portal in cooperation with the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention. The questionnaire included blocks of questions on the basis of which the degree of satisfaction of the population with the availability and quality of medical examination was assessed. The online survey of the population was conducted using QR codes that were issued to patients in a medical organization. The work applies statistical and analytical research methods. Results. The study has shown that the main group for in-depth medical examination are women aged 30 to 59. To complete the 1st and 2nd stages of the medical examination, respondents in 70 % and 80 % of cases, respectively, visit the out-patient clinic once or twice. At the 1st stage of the medical examination, 26.2 % of respondents were diagnosed with chronic diseases, of which 2/3 were sent to the 2nd stage of the medical examination. Based on the results of the 1st and 2nd stages of the medical examination, more than 70 % and 90 % of respondents, respectively, positively assessed its availability and quality, which indicates the need for further study of the availability and quality of the medical examination process for the adult population. Conclusion. To improve the availability and quality of in-depth medical examination in a city out-patient clinic, it is necessary to inform the assigned population, actively invite them by medical workers, strengthen the work of the media, and conduct explanatory work with employers of various forms of ownership. At the end of the medical examination, conduct individual preventive counseling aimed at correcting risk factors and increasing patient compliance with the doctor's recommendations, which will allow timely preventive measures, preventing or delaying the development of complications of the New Coronavirus infection.
