Photovoltaic consumption strategy of distribution network considering carbon emission and user experience

With the rapid proliferation of renewable energy sources, particularly photovoltaics (PVs) with the power system, this paper presents a novel PV consumption strategy aimed at maximising PV utilisation while accounting for carbon emission penalties, PV consumption incentives and user experience. In this paper, the carbon emission penalty and PV consumption reward methods are innovative combined and modelled, using a stepwise reward and punishment mechanism to promote renewable energy consumption.Simultaneously, the influence of user experience on PV consumption is fully considered, and the comfort of user electricity consumption is modelled.Subsequently, considering typical scenarios of residential electricity consumption, a multi-objective optimisation model for maximising PV consumption is established.A dynamic adaptive particle swarm algorithm is used to efficiently solve the model and obtain the optimal decision for PV consumption in the distribution network. To validate the soundness of the proposed model and methodology, this work subjected it to rigorous simulation testing using the IEEE33 bus system. The PV consumption strategy obtained provides a strong reference for the operation and planning of high-penetration distributed photovoltaics (DPVs) within distribution networks.
