Perioperative Outcomes of Branchial Cleft Sinus Tract Excision in Pediatric Patients Without the Use of Intraoperative Dye

Patients with branchial cleft sinus tracts that were surgically excised without intraoperative dye achieved definitive resection with no recurrence and limited post-operative complications. While not a direct comparison, these results suggest that using intraoperative dye may be associated with unnecessary costs without benefit in outcomes.
