A Study on Human Behavior Tracking Based on Anthropometrics for Simulating Human Behavior in Atypical Architectural Geometry
This study is one of the technology development studies that seek to secure more reliable human behavior simulation technology. In other words, the goal is to discern what forms of human behavior are possible in various atypical architectural forms.Such information can provide good base data for human behavior simulation of various unstructured buildings.Existing human behavior simulations simulate residents' movements and escape levels under certain circumstances. However, in irregular architectural spaces, the possibility of more diverse human behavior exists due to the diversity and specificity of architectural forms. It is necessary to extract what kind of human behavior can occur to achieve this. This study aims to track human behavior in unstructured architectural spaces. For this purpose, research was conducted based on the concepts and data of anthropometry that have been studied for a long time and are generally accepted.First, we investigated and analyzed various human behaviors in unstructured spaces.Afterward, the form of human behavior and the size of the corresponding object provided by anthropometry were investigated for this behavior. The surveyed data was applied to unstructured architectural spaces to extract places where specific actions were likely to occur. It was proposed that human behavior can be extracted from the irregular architectural space based on the extracted form, human behavior, and dimensions of the irregular space.
