Railway Accident Prevention System

The rapid expansion of railway infrastructure globally has led to increased train activity, subsequently causing a rise in train related accidents. To address this issue, a proposed framework aims to enhance railway safety. This system monitors train movement and activates warning lights and alarms when a train is within 500 meters of an object, prompting individuals or animals on the track to move to safety. Utilizing ultrasonic sensors, the system detects approaching trains, triggering a buzzer to generate an audible alert on the railway track. And the speed of the train reduces accordingly with the distance between object and train decreases, and stops the train in critical condition. This comprehensive approach combines advanced technology with proactive safety measures to prevent accidents and promote railway safety.
