IDADE MATERNA AVANÇADA E FERTILIDADE: ESTRATÉGIAS PARA PRESERVAÇÃO E TRATAMENTO NA REPRODUÇÃO HUMANA

Through literature review articles, we evaluated in this article the preservation of female fertility and the human reproduction techniques used to achieve pregnancy at an advanced age. In this article, we present data that will help women who intend to postpone motherhood to stay informed in advance, enabling them to preserve fertility or explore other scientific means to conceive even in later stages of life. Among the techniques discussed are Oocyte Cryopreservation, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and Embryo Cryopreservation. Finally, we conclude that it is possible to postpone pregnancy safely, whether this decision is due to social, economic, and/or cultural factors.
