Unveiling pedagogical shifts: Studying the impact of the flipped classroom model on english language proficiency among seventh grade students

The goal of the current study is to compare the academic accomplishment of seventh-grade English language learners utilizing the flipped classroom strategy, in which students are often introduced to the course material via online learning management systems before class. After that, learning-centered activities that build on the pre-class work are conducted during class time, to that of students using the traditional method. Individualized education is one of the primary benefits of the flipped classroom model that have been suggested. Furthermore, the flipped classroom format enhanced opportunities for in-the-moment feedback and student-teacher interactions. The research employed the experimental approach, and the study sample comprised thirty-two pupils which was selected from Al Salihi secondary school located in Al-Balqa Governorate/Jordan. A control group and an experimental group were created from the sample. While the control group studied using the conventional approach, the experimental group used the flipped class strategy. Among the tools the researchers used were achievement exams administered before and after. The statistical analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (version 22, SPSS, Inc.). The standard deviation, or mean, was used to present the results. Students' t test was employed to assess parametric variables. All reported P values were based on 2-sided tests and compared to a significance level of 5%. Differences were considered statistically significant at P 0.05.The results of the study showed that the teaching technique used by the experimental group had a statistically significant favorable impact on students' progress. Many recommendations are provided for future research and practitioners based on the review.
