Super-Poisson Renewal Process Characterized by Waiting Time Distributions with the Locally Thickened Tail

Super-Poisson renewal processes with different distributions of waiting times intervals are investigated. A distribution with a locally thickened tail is proposed. The method for generation of this process is suggested. It is shown that this distribution can be used to solve the search problem.

Abstract

Super-Poisson renewal processes with different distributions of waiting times intervals are investigated. A distribution with a locally thickened tail is proposed. The method for generation of this process is suggested. It is shown that this distribution can be used to solve the search problem.
