ADESÃO DA GESTANTE AO PRÉ-NATAL CONDUZIDO POR ENFERMEIROS NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA À SAÚDE: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Introduction: Adherence to prenatal care is essential for the health of the mother-child binomial, enabling early identification of complications, appropriate treatment and a safe delivery. Objective: To analyze the factors that influence pregnant women's adherence to prenatal care conducted by nurses in Primary Health Care (PHC), identifying barriers and facilitators, as well as evaluating the impact of the assistance provided by nurses on continuity of care. Method: This is an integrative literature review carried out by searching the Virtual Health Library (BVS). Results: The search resulted in 13 articles, 4 of which were included after screening. The studies, published between 2017 and 2024, revealed that pregnant women's adherence to nurse-led prenatal care is mainly influenced by reception, bonding and the use of care protocols. Conclusion: There is a need for more studies on the subject. In addition, public policies, at both national and local level, are fundamental to guaranteeing the quality of prenatal care and improving the adherence of pregnant women.
