Detection of MB with Au-Ag nanostars on Cu foil and Cu(OH)2 nanowires substrates
In this work, several solutions were made with different concentrations of gold (Au), silver (Ag), observing considerable changes in the absorption spectra. In the absorption analysis of these samples, the characteristic spectrum of each of them was found, thus discovering the presence of nanostars, these were deposited on two different substrates of copper (Cu) and copper hydroxide (Cu(OH)2) to later be observed by SEM confirming the star morphology, meanwhile for the EDS analysis significant changes were observed in the composition of the manufactured nanostars, finally the samples were evaluated by SERS measurements using methylene blue (MB) detecting a aqueous solution with a concentration of 1x10-5M.
