Low Temperature Measurements and Methodology to Characterize NbTi Superconducting Wires
Superconducting materials, such as NbTi, are pivotal for numerous advanced technological applications, including quantum computing and radio-millimeter-wavelength astronomy, due to their ability to maintain signal integrity with zero resistance and minimal electrical noise, superconductor materials require cryogenic environments to function effectively. On this way, this research focuses on the methodology and experimental setup for studying the performance of a NbTi wire as an electrical conductor across different temperature stages on a newly designed sample holder within a pulse tube cooler. By investigating NbTi's superconducting properties and thermal conductivity under these conditions, we aim to optimize its use, thereby enhancing its application in precision instruments.
