Evaluation of the use of wooden pallets to modify the thermal envelope as a solution to reduce temperature in the CJR Company Office

Thermal comfort inside residential buildings is already a permanent need that today is resolved through the use of air conditioning systems. Most of these devices consume a high level of electrical energy, which is why they have become a energy service of important weight in the electricity demand of the residential, commercial and industrial sector in Mexico, with its imminent impact on the infrastructure of the SEN (National Electric System). An alternative solution to reduce consumption due to air conditioning is thermal envelopes, these are implemented in the construction of the building; However, there are existing buildings that did not take this type of solution into account, so conditioning the existing thermal envelope is the best option. This article presents, through the use of software, how the use of pallets can contribute to improving the cooling conditions of the roof of a particular home.
