PD/PID Delayed Control of a Scalar Neutral System

This work proposes the stabilization and control of a scalar neutral system through a delayed PD/PID controller, presenting the necessary and sufficient conditions to ensure the stability of the system. In addition, the stabilizing parameters that delimit the regions of stability are determined through a frequency analysis of the system. The performance of the proposal will be evaluated using a numerical example.

Abstract

This work proposes the stabilization and control of a scalar neutral system through a delayed PD/PID controller, presenting the necessary and sufficient conditions to ensure the stability of the system. In addition, the stabilizing parameters that delimit the regions of stability are determined through a frequency analysis of the system. The performance of the proposal will be evaluated using a numerical example.
