The present work intends to present the relevant topic about the failure of the disarmament statute, as well as its historical and legal aspects, causes and effects and the importance of sport shooting clubs. The theme is of great importance for society, since it is little debated. The results obtained in this article show the incoherence between armed civilians and the increase of violence.
