DESEMPENHO DE DUAS CULTIVARES DE ALFACE CRESPA SOB CULTIVO HIDROPÔNICO

The objective of this work was to evaluate the agronomic production of cultivars (BRS Leila and BRS Mediterrânea) of curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) in a hydroponic system with nutrient solutions according to the needs of the cultivars. The seedlings were prepared in trays suitable for planting and were transplanted 20 days after sowing into the definitive bed of the hydroponic system, harvesting was carried out 25 days after transplanting. The experiment was carried out in a protected environment, in the greenhouse of UNITPAC- Centro Universitário Tocantinense Presidente Antônio Carlos, located in the municipality of Araguaína-TO, where a compatible bench was installed for the cultivation of 20 plants, with 10 of each cultivar (BRS Leila and BRS Mediterrânea). The total number of leaves per plant and the weight of each plant were evaluated. A significant difference was observed only for the number of leaves per plant.
