PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS OF V. FRANKL'S PARADOXICAL INTENTION: A METHOD FOR RELIEVING THE FEAR OF FAILURE
The novelty of pedagogical research consists in the identification and concretization of pedagogical techniques for relieving fear, identified based on the analysis of one of Victor Frankl's logotherapy techniques – paradoxical intention. For pedagogy, paradoxical intention is of particular scientific interest as a technique that contains a set of techniques for overcoming fear. Among them: the possibility of choice; irony; distancing; dialogue and grotesque. Paradoxical intention is considered by us not as a hidden psychological mechanism, but as a pedagogical technique that allows a person to regulate his emotional state, thinking and behavior. The use of the technique in the long term turns the above-mentioned techniques in to ways of self-help for the individual.
