Gap solitons with the concatenation model by enhanced direct algebraic method
Abstract This paper recovers the gap solitons in fiber Bragg gratings for the concatenation model that comes with Kerr-law of self-phase modulation by the usage of enhanced direct algebraic approach. A full spectrum of optical solitons are thus recovered. The existence criteria of such solitons, in the form of parameters constraints, that naturally emerged during the course of derivation, are presented. A few numerical simulations supplement the mathematical analysis.
