Effect of calcium aluminate based additive on performance of periclase-carbon refractories in steel casting ladles
Introduction of CA additive into the structure of periclasecarbon products allows to increase physical and mechanical properties, such as compressive and bending strength, and also reduces TCLE (thermal coefficient of linear expansion), which makes it possible to minimize the probability of fracture of the working layer of steel ladle lining due to the arising compressive stresses in the brickwork in the process of operation. The results of experimental industrial tests in the lining of steel ladles in the conditions of TMK-YAMZ еnterprise are given.Ill. 3. Ref. 19. Tab. 4..
