PAGES OF THE HISTORY OF THE KHARKIV TRACTOR PLANT

The article presents the history of manufacturing development at the Kharkiv tractor plant from the foundation of the enterprise to the present day. The peculiarity of the work is that it gives a brief review of the activity for the whole period, provides information about the primary samples of machinery for agricultural needs, their advantages and existing problems in production, and includes information about the current state of production of tractors at this plant, their unification and peculiarities of application of different types of working equipment on them. Attention is paid to designing and manufacturing vehicles for the needs of the armed forces, mainly a whole family of tractors designed to perform various tasks.
