O IMPACTO DA LEI MARIANA FERRER NA PRESERVAÇÃO DA DIGNIDADE DAS VÍTIMAS E TESTEMUNHAS

This research deals with Mariana Ferrer Law, approved in 2021. This statute was created with the purpose of protecting the dignity of victims and witnesses. Therefore, the problem that the work aims to explore is: what impacts did the approval of the law bring to the dignity of victims and witnesses? To do this, it uses bibliographical and qualitative research, brings concepts of victimology for better contextualization, addresses the issue of secondary victimization and sexual crimes; debates about the Mari Ferrer case and, finally, discusses the impacts of the law that earned its name and aims to preserve the dignity of victims and witnesses.
