LEAN CONSTRUCTION: PROPOSTA PARA REDUÇÃO DE DESPERDÍCIOS NA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL – REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA
Lean Construction is a process optimization system that enables construction without compromising its quality, physical performance and comfort for users, in addition to reducing waste. This paper aims to present lean methodologies in civil construction as a proposal for reducing waste in civil construction. The methodology applied was a bibliographic review that emphasized cases of application of Lean Construction tools and indicators in civil construction. It was observed that the use of Lean Construction in civil construction proved to be an effective approach, especially when it comes to reducing waste generated in construction sites. This occurs through the elimination of activities that do not add any value to the final stage and the use of the necessary quantities of materials, that is, all resources in the works will be used, avoiding excessive losses.
