Percutaneous closure of patent ductus arteriosus in patient with visceral heterotaxy syndrome-A rare case report
PDA is a congenital heart disease, which is usually treated by closing the defect non-surgically. Worldwide device closure is standard treatment via transfemoral route. In heterotaxy syndrome, PDA is a rare association and device closure of PDA is not possible via transfemoral venous closure due to interrupted IVC. We present a case in which device closure was done via Trans jugular approach.
