Analysis of the current status of landscape pattern of wetland city land use: a case study of Liangping District, Chongqing
This study takes Liangping District in Chongqing as an example. Utilizing ENVI5.6 software, the 2023 remote sensing image data of the study area were interpreted through supervised classification of land use. By combining the principles of landscape ecology and geographic information system (GIS) technology, the current characteristics of the land use landscape pattern of the wetland city of Liangping were analyzed. Landscape indices were obtained using Fragstats 4.2 software, and the current characteristics of Liangping’s urban landscape pattern were analyzed through the correlation analysis of these indices. Results: Among natural landscapes, wetland patches dominated by grassland have the largest area, highest dominance, and highest aggregation degree. Grassland is the matrix landscape of Liangping. The number of wetland patches is the highest, specifically characterized by the prevalence of small and micro wetland landscapes. These landscapes have the highest shape complexity and are the least affected by human intervention.
