A spontaneously resolved varix in the spinoglenoid notch: a case report
The rotator cuff is composed of the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor muscles, and represents the most common site of shoulder injury.15 Weakness in external rotation (ER) and abduction of the shoulder can be a sign of denervation of the rotator cuff muscles, especially the supraspinatus and infraspinatus.16 While denervation can result from a number of etiologies, a potential cause of shoulder pain is peripheral nerve entrapment or compression.5
