Recurrent elbow instability in a patient with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome treated with soft tissue reconstruction: case report
Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDSs) are a group of heritable connective tissue disorders characterized by joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility. They affect approximately 1 in 5000 individuals worldwide and present with a variety of type-related phenotypic manifestations, clinical symptoms and degrees of severity.12 The EDS international classification, published in 2017 by the International Consortium on Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Related Disorders, has identified 13 types.
