CARCINOMA HEPÁTICO DE ORIGEM NEUROENDÓCRINA EM CÃO DA RAÇA BEAGLE: RELATO DE CASO
The case reported is a hepatic carcinoma of neuroendocrine origin, an extremely rare tumor originating in hormone-producing neuroendocrine cells, which is difficult to diagnose without biopsy, surgical resection and necropsy. This publication describes a case of this disease, which does not discriminate between sexes, with a preference for adults and the elderly and no racial predisposition. The best treatment is surgical resection, the extent of which will be determined by the size and location of the lesions.
