Tourist Geolocation Based on RSSI Using Danang City LoRaWAN Network Infrastructure
The growing popularity of tourist destinations has created a demand for innovative solutions to efficiently and accurately determine the geolocation of tourists. This paper investigates the use of Danang city's LoRaWAN network infrastructure to ascertain the location of tourists by utilizing the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). LoRaWAN, known for being a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) protocol, presents an energy-efficient and cost-effective approach to providing large-scale geolocation services. Our research is centered on the implementation and evaluation of a geolocation method based on RSSI within the existing LoRaWAN infrastructure in Danang. By leveraging this technology, we aim to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tourist geolocation, thereby improving the overall experience for visitors and enabling better management of tourist destinations.
