Hofer distance on Lagrangian links inside the disc

Abstract We show that the set of Hamiltonian isotopies of certain unions of circles inside the disc is unbounded for the Hofer distance. The proof relies on a result by Francesco Morabito (Link Floer Homology and a Hofer Pseudometric on Braids. https://arxiv.org/abs/2301.08105 , 2024) together with a standard argument of Michael Khanevsky (Geometric and topological aspects of Lagrangian submanifolds-intersections, diameter and Floer theory. PhD thesis. Tel-Aviv University, 2011).
