A Method for Measuring the Spatial Position and Volume of Non-Rigid Moving Targets Based on Multi-View Intersection Measurement

In response to the challenges of accurately calculating the position and volume of non-rigid moving targets, such as smoke and flames, commonly encountered in various equipment system tests, this paper proposes a method for measuring the spatial position and volume of non-rigid targets based on multi-view photogrammetry. The method involves determining an initial search point, appropriately defining the search space and step size, and employing a traversal search algorithm in conjunction with projection determination criteria to accurately locate and correct the position and volume of nonrigid targets. The algorithm is implemented through programming and applied to the measurement of the position and volume of a specific rocket plume. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of this method.
