Knowledge and Awareness About Electronic Nicotinic Products Affecting Respiratory Health in Young Adults

INTRODUCTION: One of the most recent concerns that the younger demographic is dealing with is respiratory problems brought on by the use of electronic nicotine-based items. It is crucial to find out if they are aware of the adverse health impacts of these products so that appropriate action can be done. AIM: To find knowledge and awareness about electronic nicotinic products affecting respiratory health in young adults. METHODOLOGY: Five hundred Karad residents between the ages of 18 and 25 were given questionnaires. Overall notion avout the knowledge these young individuals have regarding the negative consequences of these electronic nicotine products on respiratory health was gained. RESULT: After the questionnaire's distribution, 500 replies in total were received. 18 to 25 years old was the age range of those who participated. They included both males and females. CONCLUSION: Given the growing prevalence of electronic nicotine products among the younger generation, it is critical to understand their perceptions of the respiratory issues brought on by these devices' use. Following the questionnaire's distribution, it was reasonably assumed that the majority of participants were aware of the detrimental effects these products had on the respiratory system.
