Information system for accounting for the results of scientific activities of the university

One of the ways to solve the problem of university digitalization is to build an information system. This paper considers the creation of an information system to improve the accessibility and management of large amounts of data that arise as a result of active research activities in the university environment. An analysis of existing systems for automating the work of modern higher education institutions and the technological solutions used is carried out. This system is being created to help structure information: facilitate access to a large amount of data for students and teachers, which will increase the efficiency of the educational process; reduce the administrative burden on employees of research departments by automating the process of reporting on the results of researchers' activities and research projects; and support management decisions: providing high-quality and timely information for decision-making at various levels of management; promoting the integration of digital technologies: meeting the modern requirements of the educational environment to promote the development of innovative approaches in the educational process. This system will help to increase the efficiency of scientific results management, improve access to information and support the decision-making process based on real data. The paper discusses the key issues and problems that arise on the way to developing an integrated university management information system. The study addresses a number of technical issues, in particular, the possibilities of optimizing the speed of access to data, improving the user interface to simplify navigation and work with the program, as well as implementing measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of information about research. The necessity of using a systematic approach to modeling, designing, building and maintaining complex systems, such as information systems for supporting educational activities of universities, has been established. Therefore, the key task of this work is to combine all the data, information, procedures and services that are necessary for teachers and students of a higher education institution in their professional activities. The system under development should be constantly improved and expanded. The immediate tasks are to complete the development of functions, improve the internal structure of the system and expand the functionality of the system for new users.
