Studying the Effect of Water Magnetic Treatment to Reduce Scale Formation
The problem of solid deposits of hardness salts formation in water heaters occurs both in production and in everyday life. The main means of combating scale is the use of chemical reagents, but this leads to pollution of water resources and worsens the environmental situation. One of the ways to combat scale formation is to use the effect of the magnetic field on the flow of water passing through the pipeline. The magnetic field can be provided either by permanent magnets or by electric ones. This method has been known for quite some time and is partially used in practice. The purpose of this scientific research work is to develop a laboratory bench and to carry out studies related to formation of scale on the surface of a spiral electric heater, as well as to familiarize the public with the results of the experiments, which will allow developing in the future a device for preventing scale for household use. This article is a continuation of the studies of the earlier published works.
